Bringing the magic to a Christmas event is an absolute delight, especially when the venue is one of your local villages.
Opening the event was Santa on his sleigh travelling through the high street as a snow cannon filled the air with snow and pure joy!
With carol singers, a live nativity, stalls and the smell of mulled wine filling the air, the high street was packed full of happy residents.
It really was the best possible community event which made our small team of volunteers feel utterly satisfied that all our hard work had been worth it.
Plus it brought some much needed support to the high street traders who rely on the local community to survive and thrive.
I wanted to write and say a massive thankyou for all of your help over the last weeks and months. Thank goodness I asked you to be involved and you accepted! I wouldn’t have done it without you. Your ideas, your experience, your knowledge and your passion made the difference between a mediocre event and a superb event. I also enjoyed working with you greatly, and have learned a lot! Let’s do it again next year!
